This
is an excellent central location with three courses within 10-15 minutes
drive. The closest is Villamartin, a championship course which was host
to the 1994 Mediterranean Open. There are three other major courses within
a very short distance; Las Ramblas and Campoamor and now at "La Finca"
(Algorfa). First class golf is available at all but each course has a
different character.
You can use the clubhouses and restaurants even if you are not playing.
Campoamor in particular has spectacular views.

 This course is next
to Villamartin and offers, as the name suggests, a wonderful rambling
course through valleys and over rugged terrain with the occasional
water hazard, an excellent challenge! Maybe not for the fainthearted!

At twenty five years
this is the oldest of the four golf courses and is really breathtaking
in its beauty. Playing over undulating fairways to well protected greens,
no two holes are alike on this superb course. A ravine comes into play
on the inward part of the course and the par 5 14th and the par 3 17th
are spectacular holes on a course that is always in excellent condition.
Only four miles
from Playa Flamenca, Campoamor was opened in 1989 and, although
not as challenging as Villamartin, it is the most panoramic of the
courses in the region and has royal patronage. The expansive fairways,
excellent greens and the lakes deceive the player somewhat, making
this is a long and testing course with six "dog legs"
to keep you on your toes. Campoamor has a new majestic clubhouse
and restaurant and offers the usual services such as club and trolley
hire and practice areas. 
La Finca is a new
course near San Miguel (about six miles), with fantastic greens.
It is long, with water everywhere.
